Dr. Sunny Patel is no stranger to southern living as he was born in Ocala, Florida and raised in a small town on the east coast of Florida. At an early age, he learned the importance of a strong work ethic and teamwork which allowed for success in multiple different work environments and leadership positions. He attended the University of Florida where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelors of Science in Business Finance while simultaneously completing a pre-medicine curriculum. He subsequently decided to pursue his true passion for medicine and attended Saba University School of Medicine. To better understand the diversity of patient care and diseases, he opted to train at many different University centers throughout the United States. This allowed him to learn the importance of a comprehensive, yet humanistic approach to medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training at Louisiana State University where he received numerous accolades including the distinct honors of being elected Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Chief Fellow of Rheumatology. He was involved in multiple clinical trials and presented at academic conferences throughout the nation. He has a passion for teaching and was often involved with the education of medical students and residents at Louisiana State University.
Dr. Patel is beyond excited to bring his expertise in Rheumatology to south Dallas and Ellis County. The community has been extremely supportive of the patient-centric practice and he looks forward to growing with each of you. His vision is to create a “traditional” style practice where his staff gets to know each patient on a personal level and devotes adequate time to a comprehensive and thorough examination. He believes that every management decision should be a joint plan made after extensive communication and education. He understands the debilitating nature of many rheumatic diseases and wants to ensure that each patient always receives his full, undivided attention.

Dr. Jake Hutto is a native Texan. He is originally from Lubbock, TX and is excited to continue his practice in the Lone Star State. Dr. Hutto is a born leader and life-long academic, having been valedictorian and student body president of his high school as well as graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA while receiving a degree in Biochemistry at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. He completed medical school at McGovern Medical School at UT Health Sciences Center in Houston, TX while serving on multiple committees. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, a world-renowned research institution. He decided to pursue additional training and chose to stay at UT Southwestern Medical Center to complete his Rheumatology fellowship. He was selected to serve as Chief Rheumatology Fellow during his final year of fellowship. Dr. Hutto has emerged as a leader in his field and has published numerous articles and presented at many academic conferences. Dr. Hutto strives to provide comprehensive and empathic care to everyone. He is passionate about Rheumatology and believes in open, honest communication and values thorough patient education.

Tim Roberson, PA-C is an experienced clinician with over 10 years of Rheumatology experience. He was drawn to the specialty early in his career and has a true passion for Rheumatology and patients with autoimmune diseases. He is excited to continue his practice in south Dallas and Ellis County after serving the east Texas region for the majority of his career. Tim understands the debilitating factors associated with many rheumatological conditions and aims to empower his patients with knowledge, support and the most optimal treatment plan. He values each patient as an individual and provides a customized approach to best fit their needs. Tim was fortunate to be able to learn from many pioneers in the field of Rheumatology and has treated a vast array of complicated autoimmune diseases. He is familiar with the latest in immunotherapy and specializes in the non-surgical treatment options for joint and soft tissue pain.
